Hi i dont know if this is standard on Blackberry as its my first one but when i find a contact then come out and go back in it automaticaly stayes on that contact.... No other phone iv had does that is there a way to switch that off?

IS there any way of resolving this with out looseing everything on my phone?

iv also noticed it now does it when you click the call button, i.e. showing missed and made calls.

It is a standard for blackberry. I find it easier to use the look up bar at the top of the screen instead of scrolling all around. There are a few third party apps that you can download to change the order of your contacts, not just by names but by how ever you want. I have one in a zip file if you're interested. Let me know if this helps.
