Default my notification light goes off after a while HELP PLZ

When ever I get a message the led light goes one letting me know that I have a message but it don't stay on .......after a while if I don't check my message it stops flashing.....this is what happen a lot.....at night when I got to bed and I am laying in bed I receive a message from some one and I hear the sound and I see the light flashing but I don't check it cause I want to go to sleep so when I get up in the morning the light is not flashing anymore and I don't put my phone on bed side mode. Can someone help me and tell me how to make my led light flash for and long as I have and unread message thank you very much and thank you for your time.

Welcome to the forums.

This is how it is designed. The light will flash for about 15 minutes. This is to preserve battery life. There are 3rd party applications that will override this if you wish.
