Default Midplate Housing Change - Positive it can be done!

Please Login to Remove!

Okay, for those who've change their housing before should know what I'm talking about. I want to change my midplate also!

I successfully removed all the connectors such as the battery, camera, side buttons etc. from my original midplate and put them into my new colored midplate.

Problem - After I reassembled my phone, I successfully connected to my network exactly for 1 second retrieving all of my text msgs and what not, then the connection cut off completely. It seems as though theres an extra antenna of some sort in the original midplate that I cannot remove. I'm certain theres a work around this. ANYONE?!
