gmail and 8320.

Deleted emails return as new emails when a real new email comes in. After i delete all the emails gain...they all come back as new emails. Only happens with my gmail account and ive tried every possible IMAP configuration and deleting the account, rebooting, reverting back to POP, etc etc.

The BB does not know which emails are new or old but the Gmail mail should and not forward to you. sounds like an option must be wrong with the account. How are you deleting the BB read emails?

i had this problem with my yahoo e-mail. i deleted the e-mail account off my phone and then re-added it. it fixed the problem for me.

The OP said he deleted the account, now i'm wondering where, the BB or on Gmail.
A logical move to delete it off the BB and reload.

I have had the same problem, and I delete the accounts and set them up again and then....it happens again - most times it happens a couple of weeks later. very annoting, and I read about it a lot but have never seen a solution other than delete and re-enter the account.

maybe it's the network???? you could try calling your networks customer care and see if they have anything that you could do. i still haven't had the problem after i deleted the accounts and set them up again

I'm having the same issue with a yahoo account. All my deleted emails keep coming back to my BB as new emails....has anyone found a solution?
