How to change the incoming email font
Please Login to Remove!
This is weird, my incoming emails are so light that I can barley read them. I have changed the font on my phone but that does nothing to the incoming emails. Any ideas how to darken them? I just got the new BB bold.
Thanks,
Marcello

Try retrieving the plain text version of the emails (press menu, choose Get Plain Text). If they look the same, then try switching to a different theme or font. If they show up fine in plain text, then tell the person emailing you to quit using an odd font color.

Go to mail - options - email settings - enable html e-mail.
Then go to your e-mail settings and choose resend service books.
You may need to do a battery pull as well

If I open an email and click on the menu button and select Get Plain Text, it works, the question is how do I set it up that it does that to all the emails.

Set the enable html email to no. However, this will only effect new messages and it must be done for each email servicebook.

I am making the assumption that it is less of a device issue and more likely an eyesight issue. If he can deal with the drawbacks of not having pretty email formatting, pictures and href links, probably better for him.
I however, use HTML even on my 8220. The font sizings have never been an issue for me. Ask me again after I hit 40 though Not long now...

Wow, a new product, a magnifying lens over the original screen. Maybe 2 to 3 inches thick.
