Question A few questions for you all!

Please Login to Remove!

Hiya...

I've just started using my new BB Curve 8520, and there are a few things that are still a mystery to me!!

1) I can't find the Memo Pad... is it something that I have to download, or is it already somewhere on my phone?

2) I want to print an attachment from an email that I received on my phone. My printer isn't bluetooth or wi-fi, so how can I do it? I do have the USB connector.

There'll be more before the week's out.. I just know it!

Hope some one can help me.
Thanks in advance....
RagtimeRoller.

Moved to the 85300 section.

1. Options > Advanced Options > Applications. If memo pad is not listed then it's not installed anymore. To install it, run through the Application Loader again and make sure that memo pad has a check mark next to it. If it is listed in the Applications list it may have gotten moved into another folder. On the home screen check your Applications folder to find Memo pad.

2. AFAIK, you cannot print directly from the BB. You would need a print driver written for your BB OS, and I don't think they exist.

What cell carrier do you have and what OS is on the device? (Please update your profile with this info. It helps to know when yous ask questions as you have.)

Look in Applications

Email it to your PC and then print it. thats the simplest way.

Do you have AppWorld installed on your device?
You can download all missing apps straight from AppWorld.

I looked in Applications and in the manual, clever-clogs! .....(I'm 65.. so I'm allowed to be cheeky!!??)... that's why I came on here... coz I couldn't find the memo-pad where the manual told me... ie.. in one of the folders.

I'll try sending the email to my PC as the last person suggested, for printing an attachment.
I'd been hoping that if I linked up with the PC with the USB cord, that I'd find more than pictures and other media in one of the folders that came up.. ie.. my emails.

Thanks for all the contributions so far... much appreciated.

Cheers...
Raggy.
