The title says it all. Recently (Saturday) I was at a friends and his dog decided to chew up my BlackBerry 9650. I had just got this phone maybe a month, month and a half ago when Verizon was running out of Tours and they were being replaced with the Bold. My original warranty for the Tour was just the standard 1 year, which ended around July/August. And I think the one for the Bold was a 30 day (I'm not sure), and I don't see anyplace on the Verizon site to see how long the warranty is.

Should I just buy the pieces I need and fix it myself, or pay God knows what and have Verizon to do it? I'm up for an upgrade in 7 months.

Yeah, I didn't get any type of insurance for it because I take good care of my phone. Just never thought a dog would get a hold of it. It was while I was sleeping so..But yes, I checked HorizonWirelessOnline, but it seems like they don't have any parts listed for the 9650. I did check Cellular Nationwide Network - 3G, Sony, Panasonic, LG, SonyEricsson, Nokia, Tools, BlackBerry, and found most of the parts under the 9650 category, just not the battery cover and the little piece on the front under the keyboard naming the brand. Both of those were under the 9630 Tour category.
