Default Removing an email address without a data plan

Please Login to Remove!

Hi guys,

(Mods) I couldn't find where to post this, so please feel free to move it. Thanx

I have an 8900 and have come to the end of my contract, I'm defecting to android and I intend to sell by bb and need to disassociate my email adresses.

The problem is that "Immediately" after upgrading ( we're talking seconds), I turned my bb on and went to the email setup. low and behold, no BIS to do it with!

No problem I thought, when I get home I can go on the my carriers bis website. once there, I get a message that says the handset is no longer associated with it and I cant get access.

Is there any way I can get the emaill addresses off the bb without a data plan??

For those of you in North America, please note my carrier is T-mobile UK!

Call your carrier and cancel your BIS account. That will disassociate your PIN and IMEI from you and the BIS/email connection.

This should give you some good info. It is written from the buyer's perspective, but is still good info. Buying a BlackBerry off eBay - BlackBerryFAQ
