Alright so i tried to update my girlfriends storm9530 and it gives me a pop up saying that the device needs at least 5mb of free space but if i go in to the memory section in options it says i have 869.8mb free space i have deleted everything i can to free up space and no dice still the same problem if someone as a solution to this or can point me in the right direction i would greatly appreciate it.

The 869.8MB is Device memory. It means Application memory.
There are too many apps, or emails, or sms's stored in the application memory.

Make sue all the ringtones, pics and music is on the SD card, not the device itself.

She is way low on memory.

How do you check where your pics, music and ringtones are stored? And how do you move them to SD card?
