Hey all.. first post here!

I am currently a sidekick user, who is getting fed up with this device. My emails are not coming in, there are a lot of data problems, gprs signal is terrible and all kinds of issues that just make me mad! I called tMo and they are willing to sell me a 7105t for $89 w/ a 2 year contract. My questions are:

1.) Is there a way to get all my contacts off the SK and on the the 7105t?
2.) Does anyone have a 7105t, tmo says it can do AOL IM, does it?
3.) What kind of battery life does it have? I have to charge my SK every night!

Thanks for your time. I'm trying to find out as much as I can before I make a decision.

I have the 7100t (using 4.1 sw) which is more or less the same as the 7105t. To answer your questions....

1) Not sure of the sync capabilities with the sidekick. However, with the 7100/05t you are able to load/sync all of your contact information with another PIM such as MS Outlook using the BB desktop manager application. Once you have loaded them to MS Outlook, you can resync (load) them on another device).

2) Yes. The 7100/05 does have the following built in IM programs: AOL, Yahoo and ICQ.

3) The battery life for my 7100t is awesome. I have it set to phone only and it notifies me via blinking LED for messages. I have played games for hours as well as talked on the phone and the battery lasts a long time. Using bluetooth will cause the battery to deplete quicker. The good thing with the 7100/05t is that you can charge the phone as frequently as you want without affecting the battery memory (so it says in the manual). I have never had any battery issues - - going on six months now.
