Hi all,

I reported my phone lost last week and o2 blocked my sim card and sent me a new sim. Someone found and handed in my phone and now whenever i try to make a call or text someone it doesnt work, it says call failed.

o2 said they hadnt barred the phone anyway as it wasnt the one i originally got on my contract (i bought it from ebay)

Does anyone know what i can do to unnblock this?

Using the new sim or the old sim?

Im using the new Sim that they sent me. the old one is blocked

First you need to transfer the new sim to your account. Usually these SIMs dont come already active for security reasons unless they come with brand new phones. Second, check with O2 in case they have blocked the IMEI (which I doubt, because I believe Telestra in Australia is the only company that participates in IMEI blocking but I could be outdated on this)
