Ok, I have a docking station on my night stand where I put the Torch every night. 2 times in the past week, I've looked over and it's been totally black. I just figured it wasn't sitting in the dock correctly. I pushed it down and nothing. Hit a button, nothing...picked it up and it would not turn on at all. I took it out of the dock, nothing. Power was still going to the dock, because the light was on. I had to remove the battery and it finally came back on. I didn't plug it back in the dock again. This was really strange - it was fine when I went to bed, just like normal. 4 hours later, it's totally out!

1) has anyone else experienced this?
2) what the heck could possibly be the problem?

I'm running the latest OS .337 -

Happened to me a few times on the one plugged in by my bed and the one to my PC. Few times I'd get an error message the device is not charging... but it feels DOCKED.

I'd pull the battery or unplug and plug and it'd be fine. Does yours ask when you plug into USB every time USB or sync Media/ charge only? strange you cant set that to ALWAYS 1 of the 3.

it asks me that question only when I plug it in to the computer, not when connecting it to the dock or wall plug.

and yeah, it feels docked very solid. this thing is tight in the dock, no slack at all.
