[Riverfurm]

I have a small #1 on my screen between the profile icon and the time. I thought this was my voice mail counter. After I listen to a voice mail and did not delete it this number would show up. If a deleted the voice mail it would go away. But I have no voice mails and it's still there. I did a search on this forum and did not find anything. The carrier is Verizon. Also there is a very very small icon next to the 1 but I can't make it out.

Without some description of the icon, it's a guessing game.
Could be any one of several dozen applications.

If you can, install a screenshot app on your device (personally I recommend "Capture It", and tempoarily assign it to a convenience key), and upload a screenshot of said icon.
