Hello guys,
Im new to Blackberry at all. Lat week I got my BB 9700 Bold and Im pretty happy with the phone except for one thing. When I put photos from my computer to the memory card and when I try to see them in the phone the images are pretty bad. They are shown in good resolution only when I zoom them. Otherwise when I try to watch them they are in not good quality. Why is that?

What kind of pictures? I transferred all the pictures from my old pearl by computer and they open fine. Maybe the jpeg information in your images is off?

Well what I derive from where you say "they are shown in good resolution only when you zoom"... here is what i feel

bold 9700 screen resolution = 480 X 360

I believe the pictures you are transfering from your COMPUTER to your BB are of a high resolution... huge / big pictures in terms of screen size. So When you put it on your BB, in the normal view they are automatically resized to 480 x 360 and hence look shabby or squeezed... but as soon as you keep zooming they retain their original size...

try this - try selecting a picture and press your bb key and select the option which says view the original size.. it will look best i am sure... then that explains it.
