Hi guys. i have been an iphone user for many years and now i just changed to BB. my set is a bold 9780 with BB6 OS. here are some doubts i have

1. my locked screen can only be unlocked by pressing the lock key, which is pressed accidentally quite often, can i re configure the unlocking mechanism?

2. how do i change the theme? i saw a theme manager software somewhere, do i need to have it to change themes?

3. my computer does not have DVD drive, and i downloaded the desktop software online, but when i connect my BB to PC, the software gets closed and i can only see my BB in "my computer" as a memory device. how do i solve this problem?

Try just typing the password on the locked screen, don’t go to the unlock key. The side convenience keys can be modified to lock/unlock

2. how do i change the theme? i saw a theme manager software somewhere, do i need to have it to change themes? Themes can be downloaded from various sites . some free some at a cost. Search for themes on the forum site.

What PC software are you using? Have you rebooted the PC after loading the DM? Also try a new download to the PC and save it . Then run the install directly from the PC. Sometimes if downloading and doing the install in one step, if you experience any internet corruption this can happen. Not knowing the PC OS details this is only one possibility.
