I updated my phone 2 nights ago and since then have not been able to send text messages. I can receive, but not send. I get an error message that reads "SMS error 4". I've got a BB Curve 9330 with Sprint. I talked to 3 Sprint techs on the phone and then brought it into the store and they told me there was no fix and I would have to order a whole new phone! I've heard from others who have had the same prob and have had to get their phones replaced. Seriously, is there NO FIX for this text problem? Help!

Have you tried a battery pull and trying to do a Register now, in the Host Routing Table?
has your wireless provider refreshed the network switch you are connected to?

I had this happen last night. I also couldn't place a call on my first attempt. Second attempt seemed to go through but I got a busy signal. I know the phone was not busy - it was a test call to my home phone. I think there was something going on with the Sprint network in the northeast.
