i was just on the facebook app using wifi my battery life was ok and the phone just suddenly switched off. i tried turning it back on but i got nothing except the red led which stays on for about 10 seconds turns off then comes back on again for 10seconds.

i know this is not a 9700 but the following link exactly shows what my phone is doing.

i have tried battery pull while the phone is charging, i have kept the phone on charge for several hours but nothing is solving the problem.

if anyone can help me out i would really appreciate it !

Did it get wet or dropped?

Sounds like it might be the battery has failed. Have you tried a new, OEM battery?
