hi, I tried searching but end up with no results. I have a new bold for about two weeks now. I cant figure out a way to mute my alarm (morning wakeup) and set my device including ringtone to mute all or vibrate.

So basically I want to mute all sounds or set to vibrate. thanks

There is a profile called vibrate and it does not have any sounds except alarm. Unless you modified this profile, this is the right one that I use 98% of my time.

I tried changing the settings. The alarm cant be muted with the profile. I toggle using the "#/q" key. I have to manually silent the alarm every morning. I occasionally set alarms/alerts throughtout the day. In meetings and places where my phone needs to be silent the alarm goes off.

I want to be able to push one key to mute alarm and all sound. anyone?

Well, if this is morning Alarm then you can turn it off completely so there is NO alarm. If you are in the meetings and your alarm goes off , to fix this issue I have my sounds enabled only when my BB is out of holster so its on the belt it will ONLY vibe and will not make any sounds.

If you don't want the alarm to sound, then you need to disable it. The alarm is not controlled by the sounds profiles nor is it controlled by the holster.
