Default Quick text messaging question..

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

I just had a quick question. Sometimes when I open up a text message it will take me to the middle of my conversation and then I have to slide all the way down to see what my new incoming test message says. Is there a quicker way to slide down? Like a button that will take me to the bottom?

Thanks.

I have experienced the same thing... and B or spacebar might save a few seconds over scrolling the touchscreen - but that means I have to slide open the keyboard, giving back the couple seconds saved!

Anyway - it's a bug for sure. There's no reason opening a new text would put you in the middle of a conversation that might be hours / days old. Hopefully it will get fixed in a later release.

Anyone found a setting anywhere to always open at the bottom of a text conversation?

I find similar in BBM. If I push R thought I think it brings me or the curser to REPLY and I can start texting... (when key pad is open)

Well, I found this bug in the original OS that came with my Torch (.141 I think it was), then when I upgraded to the next (can't recall the number) it went away and now on .246 it's back...oh well...

If you close the text and re open it it seems to take you to the bottom, not ideal, but lets hope it is something they fix in the next update !

Typing "B" does not seem to do anything for me but if you hit R to reply and then scroll back up it takes you to the bottom message.
