Hi,

I have a blackberry curve 8520, my phone switched off the other night, i tried to charge it but nothing happened. I bought a new battery as my old one wasnt working very well, however that didnt work.

My charger works as I have tried it on my friends exact model and it charges's hers.

When I plug the charger into my phone, there is no red light showing on my phone.

Anyone got any suggestions as to what it may be?

Are you saying your blackberry will not charge with either the old battery or the new battery? If so, then sounds like hardware failure, either the USB connector, or the charging system.

Im thinking it maybe the usb connector, U know if its fixable or not?

Sometimes they can be fixed, but you would need to take it to a repair shop to find out for sure. Just depends on the problem.

Did you try plugging into your PC to see if it would charge that way?

Yeah it isnt working through the PC either, I will take it tomorrow.
