I'm not registered to BIS as of the moment however i tried to invite BBM contacts and it says "pending: waiting for authorization" i was wondering if this works or the one i added can receive my request? or will they just received it once i already use my data plan/BIS?

No, it will not work. You need either BIS or BES for BBM to work. Because BBM is provider independent and its Blackberry network so you will need the BB specific data plans. Sorry

You must have a BB data plan in order to use BBM or any other RIM services.
