Default Meeting requests not forwarded to blackberry

Please Login to Remove!

We have discovered an issue where an employee sends a meeting request to a user, the e-mail does not appear on the handheld, but obviously does in Outlook. If they accept the meeting in Outlook, it will place the meeting on the Blackberry calendar too. This happens for all users. Does anyone have an idea whay this occurs? Our environment details are as follows:

Workstations
Outlook 2003
Blackberry 7520

Server
BES server 4.0.2.8 (w/9 users) with wireless calendar sync (no desktop redirector)
Windows 2003 Server Standard SP1

Is this meeting request in the Inbox in Outlook?

Do you have wireless calendar sync on the handheld enabled as well?

Yes, the meeting requests do appear in Outlook for the users. And when they accept the appointment in Outlook, it puts it on their Outlook calendar and Blackberry calendar.

The e-mail may be getting Filtered. From Desktop Redirector take note of the current Filtered count. After that try to reproduce it and see if the Filtered increases.

Not using the Desktop redirector - using wireless sync and none of the messages are being filtered on the server.

I have the same issue. Outlook 2003 SP2, BES Exchange 4.0 SP2, Verizon 7250 with 4.0.2.41

Anyone have ideas for a resolution? 'Wireless Sync' under Calendar options is set to 'yes'. No desktop redirector.

Meeting request appears on my Outlook: a) in the inbox and b) on the calendar as a meeting. It also appears on the Blackberry's calendar as a meeting; only place I'm not seeing it is as a e-mail item on the Blackberry.

We applied SP3/hotfix 4 to 'BES 4.0 for Exchange' this weekend. Since doing this the issue is fixed. Interesting...

Outlook 2003 SP2 is only supported with the BES 4 SP3, this is because Microsoft change the way they handle meetings in Outlook/Exchange 2003 SP2.

We had incompatible service packs on our Blackberry and Exchnage servers. Updated the BES and all is well!

We had the same problem with meeting request not redirecting after migrating to Exchange 2007.

All we had to do was give the BES service account "recieve as"permission to the new Exchange 2007 DB's.

Having this same exact problem with one single user on a BES with several other users who are not having any problems.

Have tried all the fixes in this thread, and others not mentioned here and still having problems. I find it odd that only one user would be experiencing this but not any of the others. What gives?

BES 4.1
Desktop Manager 4.2
Exchange 2003 SP2
BB 8700c from AT&T

Everything, so far as I and several others can tell, is setup as it should be and the same as everyone else who is confirmed to be working correctly. Could this be a device problem? Fixed with the acquisition of a new device?

Its possible that it is a device issue ... how many users are on the BES? Is this person using Desktop Manager?
