For some reason they won't install on my device even though I removed the vendors.xml file. It only shows me the apps installed on my device when I launch the AppLoader.

Strange.

I have the .440 firmware installed.

It does however add "wireless music snyc" application which I told it not to install as I wanted to make sure I was getting the OS first.

Virgin Mobile doen't support the 9860. Maybe you own the 9850? Hope you're not trying to install it onto a 9700 lol.

Uh?

Ah NO. They only sell the 9860 in Canada. I bought a Bell 9860 and unlocked it and use it on Virgin Mobile Canada.

This should work... However if you are confused ever in the past just open up your web browser and search for "blackberry firmware" and either the first or second "real" link should take you to RIM's page that lists all the carriers.
