I cannot get this to work, i even went through the blackberry.com/integrate steps, and I keep getting a message saying i need to turn imap on in my gmail account.
I have already disabled, save, enabled, save imap and nothing.
Any ideas?

ohh .. i face that long time back. following steps helps me to resolve the issue.

1. delete gmail account in bb
2. disable all feature in gmail including labs.
3. unchecked all labels in gmail excluding inbox, sent and draft.
4. logout from gmail and log into again after clearing cookies.
5. enable imap and log out.
6. add gmail in bb.
