Hello everyone,

My father got BB 9900 Bold, he really likes it, me to - very nice phone. Only thing that he hates is the tiny font of the results on the main screen when searching contacts.....is there an option to make those letters bigger or is it a theme matter?

Did you read the manual?

Change the display font
On the Home screen or in a folder, click the Options icon.
Click Display > Screen Display.
Change the font fields.
Press the Blackberry key > Save.

Before you make that statement, you might want to check it out for yourself.

Regardless of the font size you set in the screen options, the font used in the universal search will remain exactly the same; very small, perhaps around 6 pts or less.

Try it yourself and see...

@ the OP, it may be theme related, but I haven't installed other themes so I can't tell you for sure.

well I'll look for appropriate theme...if i find it i'll post it here if someone have the same problem

Tested with 5 themes, my Uni Search fonts haven't changed, even tried a Font app. No dice so far. Doesn't look like anyone has figured out how to change the font yet for it.

I changed the items i search and find it easier to read the listings. this may not help but does reduce the items displayed so it may be easier to see.
The search options normally look for and list a lot more than most need.
