I used to have OS 5. The IT policy won't allow me to send any email via BIS personal email accounts. However, it will allow me to receive the first chunk of the email (more won't work).

I just upgraded to OS 6. Now I don't seem to receive email any more. The service book entries have the small circle in front of it and shows it as disallowed.

Is this the difference b/w OS 5 and 6? Or is it my BES admin just happen to change the policy on the weekend when I upgrade?

Did you ask your BESAdmin? He would know.

If the black personal email then I would not be trying to get it to work.

Can you use webmail on the browser?

I can confirm that if I downgrade to OS 5, I can receive the BIS emails. The services books for these emails are all shown as disallowed.

I am no admin. My guess is that OS 5 does not manage this correctly and thus allow the emails coming through. OS 6 fixed the problem.

Can anyone confirm this?
