Default BlackBerry 9930 Messages

Please Login to Remove!

I am new to BlackBerry. I have a 9930. There is an envelope at the top of the screen that incrementally is going up. It is now at 38. I have deleted all emails, voicemails, texts, and phone logs. It is still at 38?? When I click on the envelope it shows my next 3 appts from Outlook. But where does the 38 come from? I do not have 38 appts in the next month?

Please help

Are you sure that the "envelope" is a message icon? Could it be a notification from an application that you have installed?

Anything is possible. But I only have a few apps installed. The "38" is baffling me.

Ok. Well, I have a lot of skills, but mindreading is not one of them.

So, until you provide information, you are on your own.

It's nearly impossible to help you without your help.

if it is a new phone, the 38 may reference updates to apps ... you should check your app world icon to see if it indicates any updates available. Additionally, you may want to just remove your battery and then re-install it. Sometimes I will have message indicates which do not go away even though it appears I have read all emails, etc. Removing the battery and re-inserting it re-boots the device and sometimes helps with this issues.

Good luck.

??? Obviously not impossible and there was certainly enough info provided. Clearly there was no point in your post.

Thank you again to afear for your help!
