About 2 weeks ago a user e-mailed me and let me know that when he gets a new e-mail, and reads it in his outlook, it will not mark itself read on the device, even when he does a 'reconcile now' It does work though when he reads the e-mail on the device, it will mark itself read in outlook.

At the time of the call i tested this on my 8700 and i was having the same problem.

It was after hours, and the server needed the monthly reboot anyways so i rebooted it, and that seemed to fix the problem for both of us.

The user just notified me again that it's happening again, however mine is working fine.

Has anyone seen this? The user says he has spoken to a few others who use 8700's and have seen the same thing.

The only time I had this happen to me, was when the log files on the bes grew so huge that they stole all of the disk space.

As for it happening only to certain users, I am not sure.

My setup is in my sig.

Yeah that was the first thing i checked, since that had been in an issue in the past, i've since amended the amount the logs write and truncated what was there (about a year ago) there's a good 10 gig free at leat at the moment.
