They have this case listed seperately from the pouch we've seen earlier with the flap. I just ordered it blindly not really knowing the difference because the picture on the website only shows the back of it.

They call the other case with the flap a "pouch", and this case with whatever it has a "holster". I'm hoping theres no flap and its similar to the oem leather holster they made for the 7290.

oh also, it looks like the leather pouch with the flap is currently SOLD OUT.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to guess that this is similar to the leather holsters we're all familar with for the 72xx/77xx series.

If you look at available accessories for some older models that's what they are calling the "Leather Holster." No flap on top.

In any case I went ahead and ordered one (of course) with overnight shipping. So if it's in fact in stock I should have it soon.

Hmm, if you look at the picture of the holster closely (from the link provided above), it looks like the back of the pouch case (the one with the belt clip) instead of the item listed as "pouch", which doesn't have a belt clip.

The detail on the "pouch" doesn't say it doesn't have a belt clip. Of course it doesn't say it does either.............

I wonder if the holster is what I already have and the "pouch" is the same thing but without a belt clip.............

It's just that...when you look at the picture of the holster closely, the leather on top seem to curve into a flap. I saved the picture from the website and opened it with picture viewer, then zoom in...it really looks like it has a flap.
Well, I guess we will know once you have the case with you.

It just seems odd that they'd list the "pouch" as "out of stock" and "availble again" if they've never even had it in stock in the first place.

Larry, I think that is the same pouch case, but without the beltclip.

The pouch has never been in stock... that's just there standard banner for items that are coming or have been in and now out of stock.

We will have them before they do.
