I'm really only getting blackberry.net emails sent to my 8700. POPs have come through sporadically all day....true push mails are a bit better.
Still no 'Blackberry Internet E-Mail' option in My T-Mobile.
On the phone with T-Mobile now: There is no access to the BIS. They're expecting access within 12 to 24 hours (same line they gave me yesterday). They did confirm (for the 1000th time in this thread) that it is RIM's issue.
Does anyone have a contact over at RIM to find out what's going on?

just got my cingular 8700c yesterday. I transfered from nextel with a 7510. Setup email through media net on cingular. Was not receiving emails and called customer service. it took about 2 hours before i got a blackberry tech on the line(cingular customer service wasn't that bad just sounded like they didn't know the blackberry that well.) The cingular blackberry tech told me that the blackberry email service has been DOWN since Sunday. His explanation was all of the blackberry web links to the email service have been broken and blackberry is repairing them manually. He said even he cannot access the systen that allows him to make changes to my account.
He also said that this was a problem for all the carriers. There was no time frame on when it will be fixed. He said it was priority one and they are working on it. You will know its fixed when you receive emails.
Hopefully this helps and i have not seen anymore info to back this up. i still have not received any emails. if you are a cingular user-call blackberry customer support 800-304-3044. press 1- IT DOES NOT SAY BLACKBERRY SUPPORT BUT IT IS THE SUPPORT.

There seems to be a problem for BES users that affects multiple carriers. We can receive emails and reconcile with BES etc but we cannot send or reply to emails. Switzerland and the UK are affected as well. This problem has started two days ago. Several users have voiced suspicions that this might stem from a McAfee upgrade that turned south.....
ANd it's not just Cing.. Nextel is / was slow earlier today.. actually I think I still have 3 emails that haven't forwarded from BIS... all other emails working as expected. Can't speak for sending.. havn't sent any today (believe that or not.. at the desktop all day really or close by anyway)

Why would anyone even speculate that a McAfee upgrade was the cause? On what grounds?
I've started noticing a delay the other day. My yahoo and gmail mail gets delayed up to 1 1/2 hours. I am on T-mobile using a 7100t. Something has to be going on... :(
