Default Can I Send E-Mail from Mulitple Accounts?

I want to purchase a 7290. I currently use multiple E-mail accounts and is important that I not only be able to receive E-mail from all of those accounts (which I know Blackberry can easily do), but that when I send E-mail the "reply to" shows for the account I want that contact to reply to. Is this possible?

Also, I will be integrating Blackberry with a non-networked PC running Outlook. I want all messages sent from my Blackberry device to appear in my sent folder in Outlook. How do I accomplish that? Through some type of wired synchronization? Is there a way to have it happen automatically without wired synchronization.

Thank you in advance for you help.

And following up on these questions, are there any apps that allow me to perform voice dialing on a 7290? I am not opposed ot having a second phone for voice use but would like to give the 7290 a try as an E-mail device and phone. However, I'm in the car a lot so voice dialing is a must.

Edit: the answer to this one appears to be no so no need to answer. Luckily this one isn't important to me but the first post is.

I would love to know if there is a way to reply from a chosen e-mail address that you use. Without having to change it each time on the web client. E.g. If someone writes to your secondary address and you want to reply from that secondary address. How can that be done from the BB?

Thanks

Exactly. Without that why even maintain multiple accounts? It becomes a read only device for every account except the primary one - if you want to maintain the correct reply to for each address. And if you don't, then there's little reason to have multiple accounts in the first place.

I hope someone can give an answer on this one. It's the holidays but I'd have guessed this would be a common issue/question.

I just got my BB 7290 2 weeks ago, but this is what I have found so far. I have a MS Exchange account thru the BES at work. So I have my work account working thru that.

Then I found the BB Web Client and set that up for my hotmail account. I can use both at the same time on the BB.

The BWC allows you to configure outgoing email anyway you want, with whatever outgoing email address you like. However it just allows one outbound email address.

So I have 2 outbound email address, my work thru the BES and my hotmail thru the BWC. When I compose a new email, the default is whatever I chose my Messenger Service to be, ie. my work email which is identified as Desktop. However if I scroll up in the email window, I can select the 'Desktop' and change it to Web Client which is linked to my hotmail account. Then that email will have a sent from AND reply to address of my hotmail account.

Additionally any email I receive can be replied to and the BB selects the correct account to sent it from.

Hope that helps some. So if you have a BES and BWC you can use 2 email accounts. More than that I'm not aware of, unless you find a web based version that works thru BB html or wap browser.

Thanks alinla, however it points to what David said. That without the ability to choose which of the 10 incoming address to reply from the device becomes a read only device.

Most people have atleast 2 accounts, work and other. Also most have the BWC or the BES not the luxury of both.

I'm not sure why RIM hasn't enabled that feature. Some of even the 'dumb' phones allow that.

Thanks for the answer alinla.

Unfortunately I maintain about 7 accounts or so, and use the rule wizard in Outlook to direct messages from each account into the appropriate folder. This works really well because it allows me to have one account for my priority contacts, another account for family, another account for sales reps (low priority!) etc. and easily focus on the important stuff just by looking at each Outlook folder, as opposed to having to sort through a bunch of unimportant messages to get to the important ones.

With Blackberry I don't expect that luxury, but at least need to be able to send a message and select the appropriate "reply to" for each message (assuming I'm not just replying which sounds like it's not a problem).

Anyone else?

I think you've got a handle on the situation. I've had no issue with it, but that is the state of affairs today.
