Angry Give me one good reason why I shouldn't delete google talk

Please Login to Remove!

when i sign out of google talk, it's like my data plan doesn't work. i can't send/receive e-mail, access the web, etc. then after i've signed out i can't sign back into it obviously because something isn't working. but if i do a hard reboot i will receive all my waiting e-mail and the pending ones will send, and i will be signed into google talk automatically. can i fix this?

The same thing happens to me with any 3rd party app that requires data. Next time just turn the radio off then back on instead of pulling the battery

GT is probably the easies software to use at this moment -- have you tried to use different method to reinstall, meaning: from desktop or OTA.

I recommend OTA from the authetic link from RIM. Mine works like a charm from the first day to now.

I uninstalled it. It works great for just Google Talk buddies, but I was wanting to get it to work with Yahoo IM friends. Unfortunately I couldn't find a jabber transport that consistently worked.

I'm back to evaluating Verichat and trying to decide if it's really worth the cost versus the built-in TMO IM client.

jabber.anywise.com has been flawless for me and Google Talk.
