Default mobile.blackberry.com - not recognising my 8700

Please Login to Remove!

I have an 8700 on TMUK I am trying to got to go mobile.blackberry.com using my device to download the new themes and games etc but when i get there i get a message saying the page is designed for the BlackBerry browser!

I am using the 8700 to go to the page and lost as to why the site does not recognise my 8700, is there another page for 8700 downoads?

I have done a search on the address but got nothing back?

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry7250/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

Are you using the blackberry browser? Maybe you are using a wap/internet browser???

Try going to it using the Blackberry Help link in your Bookmarks (press "K" when in the browser).

Hope this helps.

And at that point, be sure that your browser emulation is set to BlackBerry and not Internet Explorer or Netscape or some other browser.

Launch either the Internet Browser application (or the BlackBerry Browser application if available) on your device. Click the trackwheel, and select 'Go To', from the menu options. Type in mobile.blackberry.com. What do you see?

Ensure that you are NOT using the WAP browser to do this.

I'm on vodafone and have the same problem. Theres no blackberry browser - just the version from voda using emulation which isnt recognised by the mobile.blackberry site. If you come up with a solution let me know. I havent found one

I would say that this is a Provider Problem, not a Plazmic or RIM problem, the site is designed for use with the Internet Browser. Call your service provider and ask why you only have the WAP Browser.

Only Thing I know to do.
