Default Anyone have 8700g handheld software?

Please Login to Remove!

We just got some 8700g from t-mobile. I've managed to connect it to our BES, but cannot connect to the desktop to sync any software because I dont have the handheld software for it.

I've asked T-mob, and they said because its so new, they don't have it.

Any ideas?

Are you trying to reinstall the handheld OS? You dont need the handheld OS to connect to the desktop. Did you install BlackBerry Desktop Manager 4.1?

considering its not even hit the market in the states, it'll be doubtful they'll have software available for a few months. you don't need the handheld software to connect it to Desktop Manager/Software 4.1.

Just use the same desktop software for any other Blackberry, ver 4.0 or 4.1.
It works for all Blackberries. It did for my users' 8700C.

I would suggest to use the firmware from T-Mobile:
