Default Change activation password expiration time

Please Login to Remove!

The activation password is set to expire in 48 hrs. How can I change this parameter? Can it be set to expire at a specific time say like midnight rather than in so many hours?

I apologize. I'm sure someone will be along shortly to grant you a full refund of the amount you paid for services at this site.

As far as I know you can only set how long the password is for, in hours, up to 48.

It is possible to manually set the activation password for up to 30 days. But, I dont know the procedure on how to do it. Sorry.

The answer to your question is no. The parameter is set in hour increments and does not allow for specific expiration times (ie:12:00).

If you have to know the answer to a question right away, you may want to consider purchasing T-Support so you can call RIM..... That's what I do...post here for "let's wait and see what answers I get", or call RIM for "I can't wait that long".

And unless you change your attitude you will get more responses like the ones you got rather than the ones you want.

I really should just leave it alone....but I can't. PM me and I will tell you where to send a check. My usual fee is $125/hour, but since you are a BBForums member I will give you a discount of $150/hour. Once we have a satifactory contract signed and notarized, I would be happy to provide you with consultation services.

This is a free forum for people to interact on. It is not RIM support. As far as I know it isn't even linked to RIM in any fashion. People come here and share information. If they have a question they post it. If the right person happens to see it and happens to have the time, inclination, and knowledge then they will post an answer. I don't understand why you have a sense of entitlement with respect to having your question answered in what you consider to be a timely fashion.
