Agreed - if you can buy it locally, all the better. It would stink though to have to pay shipping if ordered online, which is predominantly how the JX10 is sold.
As for one bad report, go to howardforums and do a search. You'll find many people complaining about the JX10 - poor ear loop design, volume too low, DSP stinks, etc. All for a ridiculously high price. No offense, but Jabra clearly went for the upper crust set more intent on how it looks vs. how it works. Just read their marketing material and watch the videos on their website of the yuppies tooling around what looks like Europe. Any ad that emphasizes the actual packaging of a product ("with a nice velcro strip") tells alot about the target market.
