Question 7520 and 7100i SIMs

Please Login to Remove!

I know they are different sim but I would like to use my 7520 sometimes and my 7520 on other occasions. Will one of the SIMs from these two devices work in both so all I would have to do is change sims and go and change my PIN number to change devices?

Default sim cards

the phones may be different but the sim cards should be the same. As far as i know nextel uses the same simcard for all of their blackberry devices.

The cards are different. I had an issue recently with a user I sent a (refurb'd) 7100i to - he had the 7520 and it would not work (Nextel CNS support confirmed). However, I have found that the SIM card from a Nextel i760 or i730 WILL work in a 7100i.....really!

service should work but some features will not depending on which card you use.

the 7100i definitely requires the yellow 64k SIM card. The grey sim card that was working in your 7520 will NOT fully work in your 7100i. It will read SIM Card ERROR.
