Everything!

- phone
- email (BIS not BES)
- calendar, deadlines, etc.
- address book (once you have integrated phone book, you are hooked for life)
- tasks
- note pad (everything from notes on-the-go to grocery list)
- alarm clock
- Blackberry messenger (although has been buggy for last few days)
- SMS for non-BB pals (how did I ever SMS before full keyboard?)

Used to carry Palm and cell phone. I'm always typing on this thing, and I know it distracts people, but it keeps my life in order!

I am in residental home construction and my Blackberry 7520 is my office on the move. I send and receive EMails, make and receive lan calls and most important I stay in contact with over 250 building service contractors via the Nextel radio. I never leave home without it.

I just got my 7290 today but I imagine I will use it for similar things to the MDA it's replacing. So that means phone, SMS, contacts and calendar, and some WAP browsing. I don't know if I'll use email much since I had push email on my MDA and rarely used it. Yeah, I plan to use my BlackBerry for everything but what it's main purpose is supposed to be

  1. Phone
  2. SMS
  3. Web
  4. Email
  5. BB Messenger
I'd use it for other IMs and SSH if I could connect using 3rd party apps.

I haven't yet embraced the other features the BB has to offer, but now that I have Lotus Organizer, that may change.

Not as nice as a VGA PPC over a free WiFi connection, but it gets the job done.
