Default service book problems

Please Login to Remove!

can any one help me ....i am unable to restore the service books for the blackberry 7520.
i am using a boost mobile SIM card in it so i am unable to use Nextel's MDS BlackBerry server.

i used the desktop manager to try restore the .ipd file...but to no avail.

please help.

You can not restore Service Books. Sorry.

They can only be downloaded over the air. Means you have to use a SIM card with the BlackBerry Data Plan so the infrastructure can pick it up and send you the service books.

Default Service Book Push Options

Hello. Yesterday I was told via blackberry support that there are two ways to have the service books readded. 1. Call blackberry support and they will push the service book OR 2. Call the wireless provider and they will push the service books.

With my issue, internet explorer was not showing on the blackberry even though the software was installed via desktop mgr. Once they pushed the service books the internet explorer icon reappearred as well as the gps icon, etc...
