Please Login to Remove!

Does anyone have an OTA site where I can download the BBMessenger Version: 1.0.94? I am not having any luck on the BlackBerry site for some odd reason.

I have a different problem. I had 1.0.92 installed (OTA) and working fine. I went back OTA to install 1.0.94. Installed it, rebooted, and now I don't see any icon for BB Messenger. I tried deleting it from Options->Advance->Applications and installing it OTA again, and again I can see it from the Options->Advance->Applications screen, but I can't see it from the RIM desktop. There's no icon and apparently no way to run the program. (Also tried sending all Service Books, but didn't help..)

T-Mobile 8700g with the most current SW..

One question I've always had is when upgrading does the old version need to be removed first, or jut install on top of the old?

My problem was caused by the OTA upgrade process not being complete. After doing the OTA upgrade to 1.0.94 I still had libs from 1.0.92 on my RIM. So installing 1.0.94, deleting it and reinstalling did nothing to delete the older libs. I had to delete BB Messenger, and then run the Application Loader. When it read the BB, it recognized that BB Messenger was to be deleted, and deleted the remaining libs. I then went back OTA and installed 1.0.94 fresh, and back came BB Messenger for me... Someone really should look into the upgrade process OTA, and clean it up..

Well based on my experience, it didn't work upgrading on top of the old. So I would definitely recommend deleting the old, and then installing new..
