Would you buy your blackberry again!!
Please Login to Remove!
im very new to the blackberry world and basically counting down until the 8700 comes to verizon. Im beyond tired of the windows mobile OS, the phone which crashes, the email which sucks, and the slow interface..
Would you buy your blackberry again, or jump ship to a different device..if so, why? if not, why do you like your blackberry so much?

I would definitely get another (or do it again). The reason - reliability. The BB is almost bulletproof. And it does what I need it to do - email, phone, contacts and calendat - in that order.

I would have got one along time before I did. I had a pocket PC first and didn't like it. I love my BB.

I would definitely go back and buy the 8700, I have a long track list of previous palm and pocket pc devices, and am in love with my BB. I have tinkered with the 7100 series and still just prefer the 8700, and how it fits my needs

I would most definitely! I love my 8700 on TMO, I haven't had any problems with it yet and I've had it since December. Love the keyboard, modem tethering, reliability, screen, speed. I've dropped the thing 20+ times and it has nothing but some scratches on it, surprisingly the screen has none.
The ONE thing I do hate about it is my friends love to play with it, but that's life and I'm working on converting them. I should make them pay to use from now on.

I'm spoiled for life...I will likely always have a Blackberry of some kind, at least until someone else can match or top the stabilty, speed and ease of use that RIM has provided.

If I had the chance to go back to last year and buy my first BB device, I would NOT have bought the 7730 I did (which was replaced just 14 days after I got it) because the thing lost the wireless connection too much. If I had just waited a few months I would have gotten the 7100t the day it came out instead of waiting (apparently it was released at the beginning of June 2005. I bought it at the end of the month. I went 3 of them before getting the 7105t). However, I am spoiled rotten on the BB, and I am waiting for T-Mobile to get a version of the 7130 LOL

Well, no, because I already own it. Sorry, couldn't resist. Yes, absolutely, in a heartbeat, no hesitation.

I think you would be hard pressed to find someone in here who would vote no. The disgruntled BB user is a rare breed...

I agree. I went through 6 Pocket PC devices, as well as other regular phones and Sidekicks. Nothing compared to a BlackBerry.

In my previous job, I had a work-issued BBerry. In my current job I don't, so I went and bought my own. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has done this. Well, I actually tried resisting for a bit and could only hold out for two months.
So yes, I would buy the same BBerry all over again if I had to. The reason is that wireless email + EDGE-enabled surfing = awesomeness. I used to carry a Palm (which has better PIM functions IMO) but I am happy with carrying just a BBerry now.

Because I can sit here and read this forum on my BB while responding to email and update my calendar without missing my laptop. No other device can do that for me. Period!

I voted "hell yes" to my 8700g, but why haven't those few people who voted no spoken up yet?

Agreed.
After many stints with Winblows Mobile and , yes , i hate to say it, Palm too, (i think i blame HTC more, than anything, but palm gets flamed too for not releasing OS 6.0) I just got tired. I had 6 treo's in a span of 7 months, 4 winblows mobile in a year. Just doesn't cut it close to a good ol BB.
At first i was a skeptic, but then obviously, once i tried it, fell in love with it. I'll stick with my 7250 till the bitter end, that or whenever they release the 8700 CDMA But regardless, i've had this thing for over a year, and it's been the MOST reliable *real* smartphone/email/PIM-PDA function-ed device i've ever owned.
So going back in time, i'd tell Doc to get a RIM in the Delorean, yes. hahaha
