Official T-mobile 4.1 Release!!
I don't know where the T-Mobile site listed comes from, but if you just go to t-mobile.com and get into their support section, it lets you download OS 4.1.0.309 (the link says 4.1.0.365). I just installed it on my 7105t and it works great! Unfortunately, I don't have the data plan or bluetooth on my computer, so I can't vouch for that functionality of the OS. Under the Bluetooth options, it does say that dekstop connectivity as an option.
To get it, go to t-mobile.com, click on support, and in the bottom left under the "Phone & Device Support" section, select "RIM Blackberry" from the drop down menu. This will take to you a page where you can select your blackberry, and download the OS and DM.
I hope this helps everyone out!
Jeff

This must be for the 7105 only. I have a 7730 and the link is for the current software.

Sorry, I should have stated that. I didn't check through each model to see what version was listed, just the 7100t/7105t. I would think that this page gets updated more frequently because it has 4.1 for 7100t/7105t listed whereas the other page still does not.

Updated.
- Verizon already has 4.1 with EVDO, the old "vzw402" page redirects to the main downloads page now.
- Added US CELLULAR.
- Updated version numbers.
- Alphabetized the carriers (in two groups; the North American Carries, and the "Other Carriers" sections.)
- Removed version numbers for legacy BlackBerry models (defined as models containing 16 MB and less) for easier future updating, as they have now remained static for quite some time now. There will never be a version 4.1 for these old models.
Please remember, this FAQ is a piece of volunteer work; version numbers only gets updated about once a month.

Everytime I try to install the 4.1 software version for 7520 it keeps saying it can't install it says "1607. Unable to install Installshield Scripting Runtime."
What do I do? I'm looking for a FAQ or something, I've downloaded like 3 different versions and redownloaded them several times...
Do you think it's something wrong with my computer or something? When I plug the BB into the USB Cradle the computer acknowledges it's there, but I can't like connect or do anything.
If anyone could help I'd really appreciate it.

I upgraded the 7510 to 4.1 of the desktop manager. I can't get the email to forward so I want to upgrade the redirector. Where can I get a free download to do this?

Downside to installing Telestra or StarHub OS on an 8700c?
I am considering installing the latest Telestra or StarHub Blackberry OS software on my Cingular 8700(c) to allow me to install the Zen and Dimension-Today themes.
Is there a downside to installing either of these OS's on a Cingular device given the device is currently running the Cingular version of the OS? I expect to lose the Cingular-specific software like the Cingular Browser but this isn't a drawback as I can use the Internet Browser instead.
Will I be able to upgrade to a future Cingular build when it becomes available?
Thanks in advance.

I think you missed a downpoint of the upgrade to 4.XX
On the call history you can no longer type and search the list, you have to go back to the address book. A mistake I think. I understand RIM is the only one that can put that back in the OS...........BAD RIM (IMHO)

You can not load the 7100g software onto the 7100i. They are totally different BBs with different radio code. There are checks in place to make sure you can't do it.
