Is this email sent from Apple Mail or from the apple.com domain or both? In any event, their or your ISP or both may have filtered the email through SPAM and/or anti-virus filters and stripped the message of its contents.

they are not sent from apple.com, they are sent from an apple mail user.

I believe to has to do with the way Macs insert pictures or PDFs into the msg - I've had the same problem with my wife trying to send a PDF to me on my 7100. Ended up having her send it thru G-mail as an attachment, as I was on a business trip out of town. I'll play with the setting on my mac and see if I can fix it, had forgotten about that incident to tell you the truth, but meant to fix it anyway...

It could be that Mac's by default send mail in RTF (Rich Text Format) which seems to be an issue on the BB receipt side. See if the sender can send the message in plain text and see what happens?

OK. it's an easy fix. Make sure that the person sending from Mac mail selects the option to "Send Windows Friendly Attachments"

Yep, you should be able to read the text, that's not an issue for me. To set the baseline; I'm using a Intel-based Mac OS 10.4.7 and sending to a 7100T (4.1) using Mac mail -- signature pictures I haven't played with...
