i have a cingular 7290 for work emails and calendar syncs (strict BB IT policy does not allow for internet access hence no messenger access, etc.) and a personal 8700c on tmobile for personal use (i.e. email, messenger, browsing, etc.).

8700c and a 7290. I doubt my company really cares but I don't want my personal stuff on their equipment.

A 7290 and a 7510, soon to be 7290 and 8700c. Ditto, one for personal and one for work. I also have two notebooks and two tower computers. Again one of each for personal and one of each for work. My employer doesn't care, but I'd rather not put my personal stuff on their equipment.

So if I buy another BB can I simply sim swap between the two? I am thinking of getting an SK65 as well as keeping my 7290. I find that a lot of times I am just looking at mail and the smaller form factor would come in handy sometimes.....

Thanks,

Biff

Have an 8700g which I use for both work & personal stuff- this is my company phone too. I also have a 7290 which I use to support my users. I also use to carry 2 mobile phones (1 work & 1 personal) untill I moved my work number onto my 8700. Still have a personal mobile too.

I will have two BB's shortly. Right now I have a 7130e from Telus, and I just ordered a new 8700r from Rogers. I plan on simply forwarding calls from Telus to Rogers when I want to carry the 8700r. and vice versa. I want to check the coverage between the two Carriers and then go with whichever is better. I do not think I will have a problem selling either once I make up my mind.

I have two 8700c's, but I don't carry them both with me. I keep one as a reserve backup, just in case the other one fails. I can't afford to be without a phone for even a day for work reasons.

I still carry my old 7750 around from time to time, mostly as a beer coaster. I have a label on it that reads "Want to Waste Money? Ask Me How!"

The rumors of a Sprint 8700 have my hands shaking. I genuinely hope it's as all-powerful as the believers on this site claim. May just have to sell a kidney

I have a Verizon 7250 and a Cingular 8700 that I am now testing. LOVE the 8700. As soon as I can, the 7250 goes bye-bye. But I do kinda feel like Batman carrying 2 of them.

Be aware that if you carry two and "Sim swap" regularly, that you also have the additional process of changing your pin on your desktop manager, creating a new encription key, and , if you are on BES going through enterprise activation each time.
