ok since i got my 7100i today,i've gotten kinda used to it,but i got a couple of questions....
1.Why isn't there any SMS?Why didn't they let us do it?
2.how do i disable that SureType thing...it's annoying
3.how do i install java apps and java games(.JAR Files and .JAD files)

i think that's all i gotta ask for now,hopefully this forum will be my one stop help place...thanks!

2. Just click the trackwheel while typing something (message, e-mail) and click "enable multitab"

I didn't like it at first as well. However, I recommend that you give SureType a shot. It is an adaptive prediction strategy that learns the words you use most frequently. Once your custom word list is replete with enough words, you will find SureType to be a excellent tool.

My suretype doesn't complete words yet. I've only had it for 3 days. How long on average does it take? I was told when I bought my phone it diddn't have SMS. I tested it when I got home and my Desktop AIM sent the SMS to me when I logged out. I was even able to reply to it

Multi-Tap is enabled. SureType will always attempt to predict and complete words.

Depends on how often you use SureType. The more often you use it, the greater prediction accuracy. Similar to Bayesian filters in that respect. I have had mine for about a month and SureType is still adapting to my style of typing/writing.

You may have been told that you did not have an unlimited SMS plan. If you were able to successfully send/receive SMS, you may be on a pay-per-use plan. I kept my 500 SMS plan when I upgraded. I don't see how to send the SMS but I have no problem replying to them. I only have an option that I see so far to send a MMS.

Try logging into your BIS and resending service books or go to Options/Advanced Options/ Host Routing Tables/ Click Thumbwheel-Register.

Use javaloader.exe to install any of java files or alx files. Search for javaloader on this forum to download or google it.
