Scroll Wheel

Just got a new BB to replace my last one and the scroll wheel on this one seems to move a little less freely. The old one was really easy to move and this one seems to have a bit more resistance. Anyone know if they've changed anything or if this is just a function of the specific device? Any thoughts on why it might be better or worse either way?
