I compiled an application to COD based off RIM's bb developer guide.
I'm happy with that process.

So I used javaloader to install the app:
N:\eclipse\workspace\HelloWorld>javaloader -u load HelloWorld.cod
RIM Wireless Handheld Java Loader

Connected
Loading HelloWorld Done
848 bytes sent at ~6784 bps
Disconnected

But the application doesn't show up anywhere on the BB. (it's 7130e)
Any suggestions? Are there required resources or something for that?

I've never used the javaloader but perhaps your file is getting installed as a module rather than an application?
Can you see it if you go to applications->modules?

If you forget to set the application icon, you won't see your program on the BlackBerry home screen ribbon! If you're compiling this from the command line, then this means you need to set up your *.rapc file to specify the icon. If you're doing it from the JDE, make sure you specify the icon file in the project's properties.
