Default Weird problem when dialing from the address book

Please Login to Remove!

My 8700g on Smartone adds a + in front of the phone number to some of the contacts when I try to dial them. The network does not accept dialing a number with a + infront of it. Is there anyway to fix this?

The Smartone network doens't accept the + infront of any local numbers. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Default the "+" is the same as "011".

On the Rogers if you put the +1 (area code) number it will drope the #
have you check to see what is the defautl local # in the options of the phone icon and check to see if you have not saved the # with the +1 (if on Rogers)
