I have an increasing number of times when I cannot access my Address Book. sometimes I receive a notice "uncaught exception: 3439>= 3439" other times just "uncaught exception". I've tried the "cold boot" by removing/replacing battery and this resolves it for a while but the interval between these events is getting shorter.
Battery shows 85% or better;

I have about 3100 contacts in my address book -- I synch with my Mac G4 using PocketMac.
I have had my BlackBerry since approximately May 2005.

Ideas? Help?

I would suggest making a backup of your BlackBerry, reload the handheld software from scratch, and restore your date. Unfortunately, you probably need a Windows PC for this.
