Hi all,

Does anyone happen to know where the light sensor is located on the 8700c? I'm looking at getting an external case for mine and am concerned that the case may block the sensor. I've toyed around with covering different areas of the screen and it seems to change when I cover the upper right area next to the earpiece. But I'm not sure.

I was thinking of one of those black silicone sleeves which would probably block out any light at all around the screen. Thus the light sensor wouldn't work.

So, does anyone out there have any idea where the sensor is located?

it is located in the LED notidication light on the top right hand corner.
